If you run a writers' group or other organization and you would like an author or a professional from the publishing industry to address your group, look no further. We have a team of published writers, editors and agents who can visit your group to speak on a range of writing-related topics. The subject of 'How To Get Published' is the most popular, and as industry professionals we are very well placed to share our insights with groups of writers around the country.
We are flexible and can work around your requirements. Usually we talk for around 30-40 minutes and then hold question-and-answer sessions. We sometimes offer one-to-one chats as well, so that individual writers can get tailor-made advice that is personal to them. If you are interested in this, it is useful if your writers email us a sample of their work in advance.
The charge for a single session is £175 plus travel expenses (usually from London). If you would like a longer session, for example a day's workshops on How to Get Published and other topics (for example 'Narrative Voice', 'Keeping Up The Pace', 'Constructing Page-Turners', 'Overcoming Writers' Block' and so on) we would quote you a price based on the length of time involved. We endeavour to keep our costs affordable while still recognising the level of professionalism of the speakers.
